Studying Through the YouthSection

Current individual students at the YouthSection

It is possible to study as an individual student directly through the Sections of the School of Spiritual Science, including the YouthSection.

Below you will find information about the current YouthSection students, as well as their themes. The YouthSection individual students meet weekly in order to discuss their studies, present their work, and support each other's striving.

The choice of mentors as well as teachers is up to each student. There is a cost of 1,500 CHF per semester (3,000 CHF per year) for the studies. This price includes a student pass which provides numerous discounts as well as free access to many Goetheanum activities and services.

If you are interested in the possibility of studying with the YouthSection, please contact Elizabeth Wirsching.

Observing Inner and Outer Motion in Order to Create a Spiritual Movement

On a physical level I am continuing my studies in Bothmer-Gymnastics with the special focus on how these geometrical exercises support a clear and fluent thinking process.

Deepening philosophical textwork and occasionaly surfing on the waves of the spoken word of a wise person, offers the content on which my inner form can be rebuilt.

The manifold and chaotic sphere of the social life asks for a different doorway; to wake up to the essential perceptions of each moment and learning to read the threads of the hidden story, which we call destiny.

In the past I can find seeds for this sensitive seeing. For example, in the pictures, visions and thoughts of two great art-groups; The Pre-Raphaelits and 'Blauer Reite' – looking at the conditions and foundations which a group needs to unite to the mission of redesigning the whole world.

Out of these wanderings I might receive some inspiration how this beautiful, but lost, project called 'Anthroposophy' wants to be continued in renewed ways...

Silvia Zuur

Technically, Silvia is receiving a scholarship for independent research in the Agriculture Section. But we've claimed her as an independent student with us. She likes to think about this when she sits alone in her big office in the Agriculture Section, where her name is written on the door. More Soon.
