More info about the March WeStrive Meet-up, and how you can participate or even host. The Meet-up will take place March 20, all over the world.

 

Dear Friends,

 

As the month of March has started, the WeStrive Meet-up team is buzzing with excitement!  Since the ball has started rolling, we are happy to announce that the first contributor for our March Meet-up will be Jane Lorand.  I have personally had the opportunity to learn from Jane at the Youth Initiative Program, where she taught twice. 

 

Jane is an extraordinary entrepreneur; her commitment to community, sustainability and problem solving has led her to further research in understanding the root causes of problems, which she refers to as "systemic thinking." She is the co-founder of the Green MBA program in California, a partner in the development of the Windtunneling process, and a consultant in sustainable business management through the firm, Green Your Management. Jane will explain her work, and her discoveries, and share with Meet-up participants her insights. Then, with what Jane brings, each participant will be able to explore how Jane's research relates to their own life, and how we might overcome the challenges that face us.

 

On March 20^th 2010 join in a WeStrive Meet-up by either becoming a host or a participant.  To become a host is easy, we will provide you with all the materials you will need.  As well as a backpack of the materials you will need, I will be there every step of the way.  We will also connect all the hosts through a host forum and information group on the WeStrive.org.  This will also be helpful for those who would love to participate!  Since the main idea behind Meet-ups is to create a connection all around the world discussing one theme, it is key to connect before and after the Meet-up. 

 

Are you interested in hosting, if so, please let me know by filling out the questionairre below and getting your responses to me! Then, start emailing your local community, inviting people to join in! You can also contact people on WeStrive.org by going to members in the top menu and then typing in the city (or cities) in your area and emailing everyone!
