One Million ELIANT Signatures!
There are 100,000 signatures still needed from people in the Euopean Union. This milestone will be celebrated at a gala at the Goetheanum on March 26.

Dear friends of ELIANT
| It is with great pleasure that we announce that 1 million people from 159 countries have so far signed the ELIANT charter in support of our campaign. On behalf of the ten ELIANT Core members we would like to thank all involved most warmly. The next step is to achieve the same result at a solely European level: to obtain 1 million EU signatures and thus meet the terms of article 11, clause 4 of the Lisbon Treaty. This means collecting the about 100,000 signatures we still need from the 27 countries of the EU. We would be very grateful if you can help us do so, and in particular spread this news amongst your friends and acquaintances via email. We hope to meet this target in the first quarter of the New Year, and would like to celebrate this event on 26 March 2010 with an ELIANT gala evening from 6 p.m. onwards at the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland. We look forward to seeing you there. The opera singer Marion Ammann has already agreed to perform, and from mid-January 2010 other programme events in preparation will be publicized at www.eliant.eu. |
