Join the YIP Association

Click here to read how you can support the work of YIP by become a member of the YIP Association from as little as 250 SEK or € 25 per year.

Dear Friends of YIP,

I am writing on behalf of the International Youth Initiative Program (YIP) as a Coordinator of the Program and Member of the YIP Association Board to ask for your support in becoming a Member of a the YIP Association. The YIP Association is the governing body that formally puts on the educational YIP Program.

As we so often say, YIP would not happen without the support and trust of many people around the world. Your support and partnership in holding and spreading the word about YIP comes in many forms and for that we are forever grateful.

Now as YIP moves into its third year of running, the time has come that we who hold YIP both as a Program and an Association to begin to think creatively of new and innovative ways  for YIP to become financially viable into the future. This is an essential next step so that many more generations of YIPpies can move into the world to do the positive, changing work that the world calls for.

One simple way that you can support the future financial success of YIP is by becoming a Member of the YIP Association. Again, the YIP Association is the governing body that currently puts on the YIP Program in Järna, Sweden and could potentially support other future Youth Initiative Programs elsewhere in the world. The financial cost of becoming a Member is relatively low (a minimum of 250 SEK or € 25 per Year), but the potential rewards are great, giving you an active role in the formation of YIP in the future and contributing to the financial sustainability of the YIP Program into the future.

I encourage all of you to show your support for YIP and the work YIP does in the world by becoming supporting Members of the YIP Association. If you have any further questions or concerns about becoming a Member or what Membership means, please do not hesitate to contact us at: info@yip.se

To become a supporting Member of the YIP Association please visit:  www.yip.se/membership

Thank you again for all that you give to YIP in your ongoing support and belief in what YIP does.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Warm greetings from sunny Järna,

Ani Hanelius

YIP Program Coordinator, YIP Association Board Member

Below I have included information as found on the YIP Membership page of the YIP website: www.yip.se/membership

Membership in the YIP Association

Every natural and legal person can become a member of the YIP Association, providing s/he has an active interest in the achievement of the associations’ purpose.

You can apply for membership anytime through the online form. The application can also be sent by post (contact information).

Click here to register your membership online: www.yip.se/about_yip/yip_association/membership/become_a_member/

You can also download the application form as a PDF file.

Costs

The annual membership fee as decided by the Board is currently a minimum of SEK 250 (approximately EUR 25). You are free to pay more. Any additional money will be registered as a donation to YIP and could help to start a Youth Initiative Fund that in the future would support future YIP participants and their initiatives for change in the world.

The membership fee pays for membership services and supports the activities of YIP world-wide!

Membership types

By default all members have status as Supporting Members. Individuals or institutions directly involved in the activities of YIP can be invited by the Board to become Active Members. As a difference to Supporting Members, Active Members have the right to vote.

This creates four membership categories:

    * Individual Supporting Member

    * Indivudual Active Member

    * Institutional Supporting Member

    * Institutional Active Member
