Lecture Objectives
Giving young people experiences to think, to share a space, to develop the will,
cooperation, sociability, and relaxation and fun.
Develop an ability to look at the world through different eyes, developing
responsibility and the capacity for transformation.
According to Unesco these objectives could be named: Learning to know, to live
to do, to live together and to be.
Workshop Objectives
The artistic and manual activities are fundamental to the development of the
human being. They bring balance, harmony, self-control, clear thinking, more
agility and creativity.
The young people themselves, who have a particular skill as well as people from
the local community, will teach the workshops. Each workshop is planned to be
three hours a week.
(Examples: painting, macrame, music, making musical instruments, clay work,
art of cooking, etc)
Work camp Objectives
Coming to the awareness that young people have within themselves an immense
force can be the difference in the world we want. With joint efforts we want to
rescue the belief that a just world where everyone is equal (a mason is nothing
less than a lawyer, a doctor is nothing more than a cook, we are all connected and
“I am because you are.”
A work camp brings strength to young people with a feeling of change, where
one experiences what is possible by working together through difficulties to
achieve something one could not have thought possible.
The work camp will focus on the finishing of the volunteer house construction
and in the work done in the community around Aramitan.
