For 20 years, Schumacher College has been pioneering radical new thinking in economics attracting participants and inspirational teachers from around the globe. Now we are working with like-minded people and organisations to develop a Masters programme in economics to inspire, skill and support a new generation of leaders and activists in creating an economy fit for the challenges of the 21st century. Imagine a Masters in Economics that makes sense of the world we live in and the challenges we face, which addresses the following questions:

How are we going to live and work in a society that regenerates ecosystem health and social well-being?

What is the role of economics?

What will the new economy look like?

What are the pathways for this transition?

What tools and methods, narratives, policies and case studies can help us on the journey?

Completing the survey

We invite you to help co-design this programme by telling us what you imagine it to be like. What inspiration, knowledge and skills are needed to support a new generation of leaders and activists in creating an economy fit for the future? You can see our latest thinking about the course by visiting our website, click here

The questions are designed to take about 20 minutes to answer. However if you do not have time to complete them all don’t worry, we are grateful for any responses you can give. On the other hand if you have more to say than the questions allow there is a section at the end of this survey for you to comment on any aspect of the course. All comments are welcome.
