Fom the Editor:
The editors of Conversations warmly welcome you to the
website of our new issue. It has been nearly three years since we
have published any works on or by youth interested in anthroposophy.
We are excited to be up and running again, and optimistic that we
can help bridge the physical gap in spiritual work that lies between
so many young people on this continent. It is also new to us to
be doing a web based issue. Funding has made this a more feasible
way to carry on the good work, but we are also hoping to reach a
far broader readership by utilizing the web. In this issue we have
several conference reports from last year, announcements for conferences,
essays on the Youth Section and Adventure Education, an article
on trust and loss of innocence, poetry, pictures and a book review
on an old Sufi teacher. Please enjoy, feel free to make comments
to us or the authors, and especially feel free to make contributions
for future issues. As we are blossoming in our youth we sometimes
find ourselves taking on unexpected responsibilities, we struggle
to carry out our visions despite the very state of things, and sometimes
it is a struggle to find our place in this world. It is in these
pages that we hope to share inspirations and to document the trials
and successes of our varied strivings.
